Most of you have probably heatd this already, but my Grandma passed away last week. We just got home from the service and it was a pretty emotional weekend for my entire family. I ask that you would all pray for my family, especially my Grandpa and my mom.

- I am a brand new intern at Mountain View Church which meets at Tesoro High School. I love music, and I lead worship for Youth Church (high school students). I am currently enrolled at Saddleback Community College where I am pursuing a major in Music. In my free time I play piano and hang out with kids. I am just a regular guy who has a passion for teaching teenagers about God and what He has in store for them.
My Walk
I grew up in the church, and have never not had a church family. As a kid I went to church for friends and because my parents did. My freshman year in High School I had the great oppurtunity to attend a National Conference in Houston, TX. This conference basically consisted of thousands of teenagers around the world meeting in one place to worship God and learn more about Him. We sang worship to the David Crowder Band and heard from famous ministers, including Rachel Scott's father. If you don't know, Rachel Scott was the young woman who was shot during the Columbine Shoooting in 1999 because she did not denounce her faith. Although I had always beleived in God, after hearing this story I ultimately dedicated my life to Him. Ever since, I have had a solid relationship with God. I treat my relationship with God as I would treat a fire. After the initial spark, which starts the fire, it requries nourishment to stay alive. Sometimes it's a small flame and sometimes it's a giant fire. My goal is to use my flame and spark others through youth ministry here at Mountain View Church
